Did someone say delicious $4 Bloody Mary? Yes they did! Pancakes as big as your head, and good, hot coffee. Authentic family place with an OG bar. Few meatless options.

I've heard positive things about Jay Berry's over the years, have followed them on social media, but never been. My son lives down south and I live in Bellevue so this was the perfect opportunity to meet in the middle. You can tell the staff is happy to work there. Quick service, good food, large portions. I wasn't super hungry so like that they offered a 1/2 sandwich and soup or salad. My son had a burger but it was like burger on steroids, topped with onion rings and bacon. He couldn't even finish it and said it was really good. We'll be back - thanks Jay Berry's & staff!

$5 for bfast happy hour is the way to go. Quick service, good food, side of bacon, as my sister in law says, I ain't mad atcha!! This place is a little off the beaten path but is a great stop on the way to renton from issaquah or issaquah from renton or drove from Newcastle. Eggs were cooked well and bacon was on point, as per usual for bacon. I'll be coming back.

We love this place for breakfast/brunch. We used to live down south and went periodically. We took the opportunity to visit again when our dog had a vet appointment in the area. Prices were reasonable and portions were crazy huge. Well shared the pancake plate with bacon & eggs and it filled us plus had leftovers. Pancakes were perfectly cooked with that delicious butter taste to them. Our server was such a darling.. so polite and friendly! She got my daughter a kids cup even though she didn't order a kids meal. She made our visit memorable. Can't wait to come back.. highly recommend!

I have found my new breakfast place! Me and my fiancé used to love to go to Issaquah Café but after many many months of waiting sometimes 45 minutes to an hour for a table on the weekends, we decided we needed adventure out and try something new. Always when we pass by Jay berrys we've always said we need to try that place... Well, today we gave into our temptations. Got there about 9 o'clock and literally was seated five minutes later. Amazing breakfast menu. I had the biscuits and gravy with one à la cart pancake, my fiancé had three pancakes with a side of sausage and eggs, and my future mother-in-law had the chicken fried steak. When we got our food, everything looked amazing, I've had biscuits and gravy and past places, and it was so bland, the gravy had no sausage in it, and just tasted like flour. This sausage gravy was amazing! Had a little kick to it which I liked, and the biscuits were thick and fluffy. The pancake was by far the best pancake I've ever had... Not thin and flimsy, thick and fluffy and full of flavor. My fiancé is about 6 foot four and can eat a lot... He barely made it through half the stack of three pancakes and he had to throw in the white towel. My future mother-in-law said her chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly, and her eggs were good too. With tax and tip out the door came to a little over $70. We have found our new breakfast place and will be back. The service by Desiree was also impeccable, she was very attentive and never did we need to ask for anything... No need to ask for refills on water or coffee or napkins... She constantly made sure we were taken care of! We will be back !!!
